Over the weekend we went to the Sunny Ridge Strawberry farm at Red Hill on the Mornington Pennisula. I wasn't completely convinced that this was more then just a tourist trap for the faint hearted - was it really truely a strawberry farm or just a little backyard patch -
I was surprised ...yes I was ...this really is a strawberry farm... a really big strawberry farm where they grow and then supply strawberries to our local green grocers and supermarkets. Most of all there were lots of strawberries to pick from and the freshness of them was amazing. I don't know if you have this trouble but I'm a little tired of getting home with a punnet of strawberries to find that most of them are damaged, old, unripe or just a little wired tasting from being squashed.
I couldn't get enough of these freshly picked strawberries - they were delicious.
We spent the entire weekend eating strawberries with all sorts of things...in actual fact I think we discovered
10 ways to eat strawberries
1. fresh strawberries
2. strawberries sprinkled with icing sugar [Zach's favourite]
3. fresh strawberry icecream [we had too much icecream]
4. strawberries with chocolate fondue [melted belgium chocolate - yum] - lunch
5. strawberries with pancakes & maple syrup - dinner [beats having sausage]
6. fresh strawberry milkshake
7. hmmm strawberries and cream
8. iced tea with strawberry
9.
10.
Well I am now strawberried out....so I will leave it to you finish the list.....
So in light of all of this I decided to make a strawberry card with some of our new papers that will be coming out shortly
I cut out some strawberry shapes using our papers and added them too the card - too cute
enjoy Sheena

Everyone loves the sweetness of strawberry! Actually, there are thousands of recipes for strawberry and it's one of the popular cakes for every occasion. Strawberry cakes are popular for children's party. You must be well-prepared when holding this event for the safety of the children, especially when it will be held outdoors.
