Sorry to say but have been a little blog-absent. Yes things have been rather hectic in the Rasberry orchard as we have been preparing for our latest release.
In light of that there has been some fun crafting activities taking place. So I thought I'd better get on the band wagon and share a little.
I don't know about you but i love making cards. It provides a personal element - its definitely up there with the warm fuzzy feelings. Karelyn Joy made a couple of cards and sent them to me using some our latest papers and I really wanted to share them with you. They are fun and she even sent instructions. You will be able to do this yourself shortly with our papers as they will be up for sale next week. Also if you purchased our Scrap kits that were available recently at Angus and Robertson you will be able to complete these projects with the goodies from that kit.
Step 1:
Create a card by cutting white cardstock 260x130mm.
Score the centre and fold in half
Step 2:
Select the “LOVE U” letters form the alphabet stickers and place along the bottom edge of the card, leaving space for the ribbon between the LOVE and U.
Step 3:
Cut a length of aqua grosgrain ribbon 80mm in length and stick it to the card face in the gap between the lettering. Use another shorter length to tie a knot and place above the greeting as illustrated.
Step 4:
Cut a circle from the bird paper and stick this to a larger scalloped circle. Attach this above the ribbon with foam tape to complete your card.
