last week I put images up of a beautiful garden party with coordinated invite, treat / loot bag and place card - also included paper lanterns
here are the instructions:
Create party invite
Step 1.
Cut an A5 sheet of patterned paper. Cut an A5 sheet of pink cardstock. Trim the patterned paper slightly so that the pink cardstock frames the patterned paper.
I have created an insert so that the bird's body and beaks overlap the invite. Use a stanley knife to create this effect.
Attach patterned paper to pink cardstock
Step 2.
On the computer, create an invitation approximately 11cm x 17cm and print it off. Trim the invite to size and attach to patterned paper ensuring the the invite is inserted beneath the bird's to create an overlap.
Step 3.
Add embelllishments as you like - I have added ribbon to the bottom left-hand corner effect.
Create treat / loot bag (bon bon style)
Create a "roll" using cardstock measuring 10cm in length and 4 - 5 cm in width. Using patterned paper cover the roll leaving the ends open. Remember you will need to have approximately 4 cm of paper on either side of the roll to scrunch and tie.
Step 2.
Fill your roll with treats. Then scrunch and tie the ends with ribbon.
Create name tag
The name tag attached to your "bon bon" is perfect as a "place card" for a table setting.
Step 1.
Cut out patterned paper 13cm x 2.5 cm . Cut pink cardstock 13.5 cm x 3 cm. Attach the patterned paper to the pink cardstock.
Step 2.
Print name onto white paper. Trim to 9cm x 2cm and attach to the patterned paper. Punch a hole towards the top and attach a ribbon. Attach the tag to the "bon bon.
