just imagine the scenario -
a bunch of people sitting around a table in a meeting room, glass windows - city views and someone says "hey i have an idea"
the idea being:
"let's provide tini-tiny supermarket trolley's for the children to push around - and let's put a cute flag so they can be found if they have ventured off to do some shopping of their own".
sounds like a great idea when the trolley is being pushed around in a giant supersized Bunnings where trolley races may go somewhat un-noticed given size and space conditions....
not such a great idea when in a small Officeworks and 3 children are involved with 3 tini-tiny trolley's being raced up and down the isles. Actually a truely rooly bad idea and this case flags are most unhelpful - people notice that you are looking at these flags swooshing around and can associate roudy children with actual parent (so unable to pretend that its someone else's children)
of course, all of this is followed by the fact that now I have to ensure each child has equal no of items in trolley - not such a fun activity when all you're buying is a bunch of printer cartridges
maybe they could create a play centre with mini-trolley's and a mini trolley track with obstacles - now there's an idea - but then again you can see the potential for high level of injuries - you could put them in helmets, knee and wrist guards...might end up looking like something out of gladiators...
so back to the story - I then arrive at the checkout and now have 3 trolley's to control and of load onto the counter - this is difficult as trolley's are not still - they are moving around
i have learn't two lessons - don't take children to Officeworks and never ever agree to give them a trolley to push around!

I am currently doing a scrap page of these photo's that were taken post a face-painting session during the school holidays earlier in the year. Hope to share that in the next post.
In the mean time don't forget to Save The Date and visit us at the Rasberry retail or trade event next week
We are really looking forward to catching up with you
Hilarious, I'll be watching out for this next time I go to Officeworks!
